Halloween (well nearly) on the Montgomery Canal

The Monty has everything  - a staircase at Frankton..

....restored warehouses

....an aqueduct...

...and even a water feature.

(apparently to keep the water aerated on the unnavigable section)

Unfortunately, only the first 4 miles are navigable, despite massive restoration on the rest, due to SSSI interests and lack of European funding!!!

They'll have to do a bit of weed cutting here when the boats eventually arrive!!
