so we walked further up the feeder. (in the pouring rain, of course)

Still, we got to the end - this is where the canal steals water from the Dee and sends it down to Hurleston.

And this is Horseshoe Falls where it all happens.

There was an awful lot of water in the Dee that day, and quite a lot coming down from the heavens, so we decided to take a steam train back to Llangollen.
