Hatton Locks

After Shrewley Tunnel come the 21 wide Hatton locks.

At first we thought we were going to have to descend alone.....

... which can be a daunting task...

... but then along came Valkyrie - (duh diddle uh duh, duh diddle uh duh, duh diddle uh duh, duh diddle uh!)

and our task was suddenly eased - thanks to the competent locking of Neil and Sandra - and of course, Cameron.

although it has to be admitted that Nick and Cameron spent most of the flight aboard Valkyrie playing on a Playstation!!!
